I often get questions about working with files, re-sizing images and other issues related to DigitalPapercrafting. Here’s one:

Real Questions from Real People

What then does the backside look like?? (no name from questioner)

Hi There!

Thanks for your note and excellent question.

Because you print these tags yourself, how the back looks is completely up to you. If you only print the front side, the reverse will be plain paper or cardstock. However, I do recommend one of two ways to dress up that plain back:

1 Pre-print the back with a complementary digital texture before printing the fronts. Check your printer for the correct feed direction to avoid double printing mishaps!

Or,

2 Dress up the back of the tags after printing with your favorite Papercraft technique – from ink stamping to paper collage. Tip: Finish the backs BEFORE cutting the tags out. (Check out this video tutorial for a Kraft paper finish)

I hope this gives you some ideas and don’t hesitate to ask if something else comes up.

Cheers!

Monette
